Livepush sends one stream to many places at once. There are three ways to add a destination, and which one you use depends on the platform.
1. Connect with one click
These platforms use a secure login. You authorise Livepush once, then pick the channel, page or group you want to stream to from a dropdown. No stream keys to copy, and nothing to re-enter for later streams.
YouTube - connect your channel and stream to a live event
Facebook - profiles, pages and groups. For groups you also need to add the Livepush app to the group first.
Twitch - connect your account and go live on your channel
If a connection stops working, the usual cause is that the social account was disconnected at some point. Reconnect the account and save the destination again.
2. Add with a stream key
These platforms have their own icon in your Livepush dashboard. Click the icon, paste in the stream key from that platform, and add the server URL if the platform asks for one. Livepush already knows the rest of the settings.
Always use the platform's own icon rather than the generic Custom RTMP option. The icon carries the correct defaults for that platform.

3. Anything else, with Custom RTMP
If a platform is not in the list above, you can still stream to it as long as it accepts an RTMP URL and a stream key. That covers almost everything.
Choose Custom RTMP as your destination, then paste in the server URL and stream key the platform gives you.
Common uses:
TikTok - TikTok has no one-click connect. Add it through Custom RTMP using the server URL and stream key from TikTok Live Studio or TikTok LIVE Access.
Your own private media server
Hardware decoders and set-top devices
A CDN ingest point
Another streaming service, such as Zoom or Dacast
A partner or downstream platform that accepts an RTMP source
Custom RTMP destinations are available from the Pro plan upward. They are not included on the Free plan.
How many destinations can I use?
Your plan sets two separate limits: how many platforms you can stream to at once, and how many accounts of the same platform you can use at the same time.
For example, 3 destinations per platform means you can stream to 3 different YouTube channels or 3 different Facebook pages simultaneously.
See Livepush plans and pricing for the limits on each plan.
Platforms we no longer support
These platforms have shut down or ended their live streaming service. Streams to them will not connect.
Trovo - shut down 30 June 2026
DLive - shut down 27 April 2026
Cannot find your platform?
If a platform is not listed here and you are not sure whether Custom RTMP will work with it, start a live chat and tell us which one. We will check, and if it is a platform enough people ask for, we will look at adding it natively.
