Learn how to connect your Facebook account to stream live to Facebook Page / Group / Timeline

In today's world, no one can deny the fact that how beneficial it is to live stream to Facebook, ability to approach mass viewers with a great diversity in types of viewers.

Requirements

  1. A Facebook account.

  2. A Livepush account.

Step by step guide

Adding Facebook destination by linking your Facebook account is very easy and convenient. Let's walk through the steps.

1- Sign in to your Livepush account (if you don't have one, create your Free Account.

2- Go to your Dashboard Home and click on your live stream i.e. Live Input or Pre-recorded Live.

3- In the Stream Dashboard page, click on Add Destination under "Destinations" section on the right.

4- The destinations dialog will appear with all of the supported platforms, click on the Facebook icon.

5- Now, you need to link your Facebook account with Livepush to automatically download the RTMP settings for your Facebook channel livestreams. To do that, Click on Login with Facebook.

6- Once you are connected to your Facebook account, Livepush will ask you to select a target channel, either Page, Group or your Timeline. Select a target channel you want to broadcast to.

7- Next is to update your stream title, stream description for this your Facebook live stream.

8- Next is to configure your Facebook Live Privacy settings.

9- Click on Save Destination, wait for it to get saved .. and then close the dialog box.

Great Job! you have successfully linked your Facebook destination and can start streaming.

Bonus Step: Toggle the "ON/OFF" switch next to your Facebook Live destination and start streaming to Facebook.
